Get to Know the Talented Creators Behind Session Magazine

Session magazine covers the creative world, bringing you the exceptional in Culture, Fashion, Beauty, and Lifestyle through our online magazine, social media, and events worldwide. We aim to be artistic, authentic, and connected. We’ve been running as an online magazine since 2013 – as of 2018, we have over 5200 subscribers from all over the globe – from Australia to France to China, with more joining every day! Our readers include industry professionals such as photographers, stylists, models, and designers alongside fellow creatives and bloggers. What is your role at the publication?

I'm a contributor for Session magazine and also a fashion stylist. I work with writers, photographers, models, and other creatives on their projects. I also work directly with brands on various projects like photoshoots or editorials.

Tell us more about what your day looks like

I woke up at 6 AM and went for a jog on the beach while listening to music. I stopped by my favorite coffee shop, Clandestino, before work and had an espresso with almond milk. After that, I went into our office and got right to work. We have a really busy day ahead of us! Some of my tasks are going through emails and putting together some celebrity interviews for our next issue. I'm so excited about all of it!

How did you get started in this field?

As you may have already guessed, we are a group of talented creators who all have different expertise. Fashion is an area that I am knowledgeable about, having attended FIDM for two years and interned for various prominent designers in the LA fashion scene. Through my passion for music and celebrity editorials, I joined a team of art directors from around the world who share this love and created an online publication: session magazine.

What was your path to this career?

I'm creative at heart, but I never really knew what kind of creative I wanted to be. After years of studying and trying different things, I found my true calling in fashion. Fashion is an ever-changing industry that provides new challenges every day - it's one of the most rewarding jobs out there. Session Mag has been my dream job for years now, and it's finally come true.

What are some tips for people who want to follow in your footsteps?

All of the artists at Session Mag work together, but it's important that you stay true to your individual style and skill set. Passion is key.
